Your development

Planning, designing, building, constructing, maintaining and managing electrical systems; as an Ausgrid cadet you will have the opportunity to experience it all.

In the period you are working full time at Ausgrid, you’ll be allocated to a number of roles.  This will give you the opportunity to experience various responsibilities and be part of a team.

Your two-week mid-year training period is designed to enhance your knowledge and skill set.  It is also an opportunity to network with other Cadets and participate in team-building activities.

When you finish your degree, you will have the opportunity to apply for a position on the Ausgrid Electrical Engineering Graduate Program.  Two years after that, you will be eligible to apply for a role as a professional engineer at Ausgrid.
