The Ausgrid Traineeship program is designed for students who are good at maths and science, like to solve problems and love being hands-on.

The Traineeship is a four year program (with an optional 5th year subject to performance) combining part-time study at TAFE with work experience at Ausgrid.

Trainees undertake a four year part-time Advanced Diploma in Electricity Supply Industry (Power Systems) at TAFE and attend classes one day per week while TAFE is in session.

The remainder of the trainees’ time is spent gaining valuable work experience on the Ausgrid network.
