In 2011, Ausgrid maintained its platinum ranking in Corporate Responsibility Index benchmarking.

In its 2nd year of participating in benchmarking against the Dow Jones Sustainability Index, Ausgrid improved its score from 65% to 75%, placing it within the top 15% of electricity companies worldwide. Ausgrid scored 100% in the categories of : 

Also, the scores in the categories of Corporate Citizenship & Philanthropy and Environmental Policy/Management System were both over 30 points better than the industry average.
