The Solar Survey closed on 7 December. Thankyou to all who entered. We had an overwhelming response and all winners have been notified.
We are inviting our customers to participate in our solar power, battery and energy use survey.
You don’t need to own a solar or battery system to participate in the survey, as we are also interested in how you use energy, and we would like to hear the views from all our residential customers.
The results of the survey will assist Ausgrid to plan for its customers' electricity needs, helping us to manage a safe, reliable and efficient electricity network for the whole community.
Before you start
- To answer the survey, you are required to provide your National Meter Identifier (NMI) number which is provided in your invitation letter.
- If you didn’t receive a letter, you can still participate and the NMI for your home can be found on your latest electricity bill often on the last page with the usage and meter reading information. The NMI is a 11 digit code beginning with 4102, 4103, 4104 or NCCC for customer’s in the Ausgrid electricity network area.
As the questions in the survey are focused on your households energy usage and decisions about it, it should be completed by the person who makes the energy decisions in your household.
As a 'thank you' for completing the survey you will be automatically entered in the draw to win one of 10 Coles Myer Gift Cards, valued at $500 each.
To be eligible to enter the competition you must complete the survey by 28 November 2016 and your home must be in NSW (one entry per household). Ausgrid employees, and their immediate family members, are not eligible to enter the competition. Prizes will be drawn on 5 December 2016 (NSW Permit No. LTPS/16/08102 ) and winners will be notified by 7 December 2016. For competition terms and conditions click here.
