News and information for level 3 accredited service providers (ASPs).
Contestable process
The high level contestable process that we follow may be seen in the attached flowchart. This process is relevant for connections and the majority of relocations of assets.
ASP3 Newsletter
As we near the end of 2010, the Contestability team has released a newsletter to provide a general update and feedback on some issues for this year and expected changes in 2011.
ASP3 seminars
We regularly hold seminars for level 3 ASPs.
The next seminar will be held in Quarter 1 2011, and details will be released one month prior. An invitation is extended to all ASP3 who are currently accredited in NSW. Each ASP3 is welcome to send one representative.
The first seminar for 2010 was held in March. Documentation provided at previous seminars is located in our archive.
ASP3 workshops
Workshops are based upon topics suggested by ASP3s or identified by Ausgrid:
Sample certified design workshop
Held in June 2010 in Sydney and the Newcastle area, this workshop discussed a sample design considered of certifiable standard. Following feedback from the workshops, we have modified the sample design to include a Sydney and Newcastle version. In conjunction with this, we will also be updating the CAD design templates. Further information on these updates will be available shortly.
Overhead design manual workshop
As introduced at the March 2010 ASP3 seminar, we are in the final stages of drafting an overhead design manual. Close to the time of release, ASP3s will be invited to a workshop to introduce the concepts in the manual. This workshop has been rescheduled and is expected to be held in the first half of 2011.
ASP3 Face to Face Meetings
Between June and September 2010, we held 17 face to face meetings with ASP3's in both Sydney and the Newcastle area. The sessions covered a range of topics and generated valuable feedback. We have collated the questions and answers.
More face to face meetings will be held in 2011.
