EnergyAustralia’s network business officially changed its name to Ausgrid on 2 March 2011, following the NSW Government’s sale of EnergyAustralia’s retail business and brand.

The same legal entity continues to connect our customers and build and maintain our electricity network, but this is now occurring under the name Ausgrid.

Distribution loss factor calculation methodology paper

Factor Methodology published according to the obligations of National Electricity Rule 3.6.3(g)(2). Distribution Loss Factors are used by energy retailers to account for electrical losses on energy passed through the transmission and distribution system.

Excluded services list

IPART Regulation of Excluded Distribution Services, Rule 2004/1, June 2004, requires EnergyAustralia, as a provider of Excluded Distribution Services, to produce an information disclosure document on its Excluded Distribution Services, which: accurately describes these services; sets out their pricing methodology; and sets out the terms and conditions on which they are provided.
