Ausgrid is required to submit a pricing proposal to the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) each year, which outlines proposed network prices. These prices reflect the cost of providing a safe and reliable electricity supply, at least cost to customers.
The AER publishes the pricing proposals for each of the NSW distributors in May each year.
