To help our crews repair streetlights as quickly as possible, please ensure you have the following details ready:
- Location of the faulty streetlight by providing the nearest building number, street name and the nearest cross street to where the fault is located;
- The streetlight pole number consists of two letters and five numbers (for example AB 12345) and is located at eye level on the pole. The photos show the varied coloured and shaped number tags that can be found.
- Any other relevant information that will assist in the repair work such as number of lights out, noting nearby landmarks such as located near a roundabout or crossing.
We care about neighbourhood safety and encourage the community to report any faulty or damaged streetlights. To report a streetlight out, fill in and submit the form below, or call us on 1800 044 808.
Ausgrid is responsible for repairing streetlights that we own and maintain within our network distribution area only. For any other issues or requests such as the development or relocation of streetlights, contact your local council.
Please note, fields marked with * are required. The form cannot be submitted unless all required fields are completed.
