Wamberal power supply update

Fire and Rescue NSW and NSW Police have instructed Ausgrid to progressively disconnect power supply to up to 30 properties on the NSW Central Coast as a safety measure following extreme weather and coastal erosion.

Residents were evacuated from impacted properties on Ocean View Drive in Wamberal Beach before power supply was disconnected from 3pm Monday July 20.

Ausgrid technicians worked with emergency services to isolate impacted properties. Power supply to other properties is not affected.

Ausgrid will continue to work with emergency services and local authorities to ensure the safety of the community.
