This means creating a work environment that is inclusive, where employee differences are valued. We also acknowledge that people perform the best when they feel comfortable in bringing their whole self to work.
To enable us to make some real, sustainable and accelerated change, our Inclusion and Diversity goals are focused on five key diversity pillars: Gender, Culture, LGBTQI+, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and Disability.
Ausgrid’s Inclusion and Diversity Council, chaired by our CEO, is action-oriented to bring about sustainable change. The Council members sponsor several Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) that enable employee member input on a range of issues to make Ausgrid a more inclusive and diverse organisation.
