Working safe

Clearance enquiries

CLEARANCE ENQUIRY UPDATE: We are currently experiencing an unprecedented number of applications and enquiries for safety controls such as tiger tails. This has resulted in delays in processing and scheduling Isolations and Installations, with some applications taking up to 12 weeks. We apologise for the impact this is having on planned jobs and appreciate your patience while we continue to process applications as quickly as possible.

You may need to make an online clearance enquiry if you are working near powerlines or or moving large plant in proximity to the electricity network.

Ausgrid will assess your site or proposed travel route to check whether further safety controls are required.
