We know our success relies on understanding the needs of our customers and communities. One way we ensure customer views are incorporated into our business operations is through our peak customer advocacy group, the Customer Consultative Committee (CCC), and additional specialist committees.

These committees are made up of independent external customer advocates who represent a diverse mix of perspectives, customer representation and technical expertise.

Committee structure

Ausgrid’s structure for customer consultative and specialist committees is aimed at fostering trust with customers and stakeholders while offering independent perspectives. Each specialist committee submits regular reports to our main customer body.

Roles and responsibilities

Each specialist committee includes at least one CCC member who provides regular updates on the specialist committee’s recommendations to the CCC.

Terms of Reference govern all of Ausgrid’s customer committees. They outline the roles and responsibilities of committee members and what they can expect from Ausgrid.
