The diagrams below outline the process of regulatory investment tests for distribution (RIT-D) and transmission (RIT-T) investments.

The RIT-D process applies to distribution projects where the most expensive credible option costs more than $7 million, while the RIT-T process applies to transmission projects where the most expensive credible option costs more than $8 million. You can find out more about Ausgrid's RIT-D and RIT-T projects here.
