Covers the planning and design requirements for metering and indication for sub-transmission feeders, sub-transmission substations and zone substations.
Scope
This Network Standard specifies Ausgrid’s requirements for the design, installation, testing and commissioning of secondary systems associated with metering only at major substations.
The standard applies to revenue and operational metering secondary systems, including metering panels, associated secondary wiring, interfaces to current and voltage transformers, power supplies, and communications required for metering data collection.
This standard is applicable to new works, alterations, replacements and refurbishments of metering secondary systems at major substations.
This standard does not apply to protection and control systems, SCADA or automation systems, or metering installations at distribution substations or customer installations, except where explicitly stated.
