To define Ausgrid’s requirements regarding the management of vegetation in the vicinity of Ausgrid’s network assets. Specifically for urban low voltage overhead mains, this document contains Ausgrid’s requirements for vegetation clearances, inspection and maintenance practices, trimming methods, safety obligations, and management responsibilities to ensure public safety, network reliability and regulatory compliance.
Scope
This document contains the requirements regarding vegetation management associated with Ausgrid’s Network Assets. It applies to all persons with responsibility for managing vegetation in the vicinity of Ausgrid’s network assets including Ausgrid employees, Contractors, and Accredited Service Providers.
