NS211: Working with Asbestos
The purpose of this document is to provide the minimum requirements for working in close proximity to, or disturbing and/or removing. Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM) from the workplace.
Scope
This document applies to all Ausgrid staff, ASP’s and contractors, when working on, or in close proximity to, asbestos-containing materials. This includes all electrical network assets and nonnetwork areas including office/depot facilities When Ausgrid staff are working at non Ausgrid sites, the general requirements of this Network Standard are still to be applied.
