From time to time, we need to interrupt your power supply while we extend or maintain the network. We give 4-7 days written notice that power will be temporarily interrupted to allow crews to safely undertake work.
How to search for a planned outage
We suggest you take some simple precautions before and during a power outage:
A SMS notification service is available for power outages. If you did not receive a SMS for a recent planned outage please confirm that your electricity retailer has the correct mobile phone number listed for your address. This is the number that will receive the planned outage SMS notification. The electricity retailer regularly updates us with the details of each Primary Electricity Account Holder according to the National Energy Retail Rules. The Primary Account Holder is nominated by your retailer and is typically the first person named on your account.
