Streetlights often have an ‘Ausgrid asset number’ on the pole that you can also search for.

After searching, click or tap up to 15 icons (with the same or different issues), then scroll down and select 'Report streetlight'.

It may be a privately or council owned streetlight. Ausgrid can't attend issues on streetlights owned by others.

An asset number is a unique code that Ausgrid assigns to each piece of equipment in the electricity network. This code helps track and manage the equipment.   

Not all asset numbers are visible, but you can usually find them on most poles and streetlights.

If you would like a new light to be installed, you need to contact your local council to discuss the process.  

If you are experiencing problems with the streetlight glare, you need to contact your local council to discuss the process.
