The Ausgrid Development Application Clearance Checker provides a service for council planners, private certifiers, developers and land owners to check whether a building proposal may fall within minimum network infrastructure clearance area, and should be referred to Ausgrid for further safety clearance checks.

About the data

The checker provides a visual indicator displaying any areas of a property that may fall within the minimum network infrastructure safety clearance area.

The checker does not show locations of electricity network infrastructure. Any person seeking the location of underground cables should contact Before You Dig Australia. The location of overhead network assets can be checked on the Look Up and Live website.
