Areas Eligible for Energy Storage as a Service Offer

Community battery catchment areas

The battery catchment area and number of eligible customers is set by Ausgrid based on factors such as battery sizing, proximity to the battery and network connectivity.

All commissioned Ausgrid and third party-owned community batteries automatically participate (connected at 11kV or below; with Critical Peak Pricing Tariffs (EA334/335 and EA374/375); without any assigned tariff).

Ausgrid is actively installing more community batteries. Please check your eligibility again if you currently fall outside the catchment areas.
