Apprentice Technician

Power up your career!

As a Technician, you will install and maintain equipment associated with substations including transformers and switch gear that control and distribute electricity. You will work on the construction and maintenance of substations and diagnose and rectify faults. You will have the opportunity to work with new technologies to enable the electricity grid of the future.

You’ll be deep in the action working in substations, powering up light, data, power circuits, and keeping the energy flowing to where it’s needed most. As you train, you'll pick up in-demand skills, work on cutting-edge tech, and become a fully licensed sparkie ready to take on any challenge.
